NICU Day 27

Dr.'s haven't made rounds yet today. Alex's blood gas has improved since yesterday. His ventilator rate was decreased from 48 down to 45, which is still a significant number. Reducing this, is one of the first steps to getting him off the vent. His oxygen is hovering around 40%. His feedings are 18 ml every 3 hours, and he gained 10 grams last night bringing him to 2 lb 3.8 oz. Mabry still the same. Her feedings are 19 ml every 3 hours. She gained 20 grams last night and weighs 2 pounds 1.2 oz.
